Environment
Fantastic sea and/or golf views are enjoyed from almost all plots and residents can enjoy the tranquillity and natural surroundings that the area has to offer. This is Monte Mayor, an area that took its name from one of the peaks of the Serrania de Ronda which is 580 metres high and can be seen from various points on the Costa del Sol.

Exclusivity
Nestled in the mountains of the Serrania de Ronda as you enter Benahavis, which shelter it from the strong winds and create a microclimate, and enjoying the views and fresh water provided by the three rivers that run through it, Monte Mayor is one of the few remaining valleys on the Costa de Sol where there is an abundance of vegetation and low-density development planning.

Pleasures
In 2000 the developer who owned the land saw the potential of the area and decided to develop the infrastructure of the 365 hectares within Monte Mayor, thus renaming the urbanisation where a gated residential community of villas and some townhouses was created for people looking for tranquillity, fantastic views, proximity to several golf courses as well as the amenities found in San Pedro, Marbella and Puerto Banus.

Space
Monte Mayor benefited from the developer’s well-planned project, which consisted of plots to be developed of minimum 2000 m² and 12.2% buildable area and was based on low density, privacy and tranquillity. That low-density policy in its development plan meant that only 46% of the 365 hectares can be developed, making Monte Mayor a private space that will retain its beauty over time.
